Working Principle Of Double Roller Granulator

The double roller extrusion granulator utilizes the squeezing force between two rotating rollers to form pellets. The surfaces of the two steel rollers are equipped with uniformly arranged hemispherical recessed models, which are directly integrated into the steel cylinder surface and cannot be replaced. Powder material enters between the two rollers through the discharge opening of the mixer. When the corresponding hemispherical models on the rollers are filled with material, they squeeze against each other, forming an oblate pellet from two hemispheres. The models are generally smaller than half circles to facilitate demolding. After forming, the pellets are ejected from the model due to the centrifugal force of the rotating rollers, falling into the discharge opening along with the unmolded powdered material.

1. The powder material moisture is too high : Use dry material
